Your plan doesn’t require a primary care physician (PCP), but it’s a good idea to have one. A PCP can recommend age-appropriate tests, screenings and vaccinations that can help you stay healthy.

Reminder: If you have a PPO plan, you have the option to choose a primary care physician. If you have an HMO plan, you are required to stay within your network of providers to receive coverage except in urgent or emergency situations.
